Happy 4th Birthday to us!

The Skill Mill turns 4 and there's plenty to celebrate!

Young people from all the Skill Mill teams, Partners, Directors, Staff from the Youth Offending Team and the Mayor of Newcastle were among those who came to celebrate 4 fantastic years in which The Skill Mill has:

• provided 72 young people with meaningful work and training (in the UK alone)

• Cleared countless watercourses

• Landscaped gardens

• Built dry stone walls

• Removed over 1000 bags of waste from the countryside and greenbelt (including unknown numbers of 'Tudor' crisps ...and a goats leg!)

• Built flood defences across the north of England

• Painted, decorated and plastered..

• Worked with over 20 partners nationally and internationally

• Expanded into Estonia

• Published new research into Desistance

• Won numerous awards
