Supporting Local Communities

As you may already know, our teams are beginning to return to work. You can find out more about this by clicking here. During Covid-19, many of our supervisors have continuously supported their local communities in alternative ways.

Matthew, from The Skill Mill Rochdale/Bury has been supporting Rochdale Youth Justice Service and the Fostering and Adoption team. Packages full of resources to support young people were prepared at Rochdale Town Hall. Matthew has been delivering these packages on behalf of Rochdale Bury Council to those who are most in need.

Further to this, Matthew has continued to support Rochdale Youth Justice Service by checking on the welfare of young people living in Rochdale and Bury and supporting their needs. Studies have shown that lockdown has had a negative impact on the health and wellbeing of the population, which makes its crucial to continue to support children and young people with multiple needs.
