Shortlisted for The Howard League for Penal Reform 'Organisation of the Year'

The Howard League for Penal Reform annual awards are for the country’s most successful community projects which encourage desistance from crime. The Skill Mill has been shortlisted as a finalist for the 'Organisation of the Year'.

The awards are a celebration of projects which help to keep people out of the criminal justice system by providing alternative, proportionate, effective and targeted interventions which will help reduce the risk of re-offending. The awards recognise projects and organisations whose work and practice is delivered above and beyond normal service delivery. The Howard League campaigns for meaningful change in the criminal justice system. Everything they do seeks to achieve their aim of less crime, safer communities, and fewer people in prison.
