The Skill Mill Newcastle: Training Opportunities

The Skill Mill is working with Urban Green Newcastle to offer fantastic training opportunities to young people.

Urban Green Newcastle is an independent charity responsible for the management and upkeep of the city’s 33 parks and 61 allotment sites. The Skill Mill is a multi-award-winning social enterprise which provides employment and training opportunities for young people.

The training will provide pathways to education and employment for young people living in and around Newcastle upon Tyne. Trainees achieve an AQA award, create a CV and gain invaluable practical real work experience. All of the sessions are outdoors and are co-designed by The Skill Mill and Urban Green's Senior Park Ranger Team. No previous work experience or qualifications are necessary.
