The Skill Mill will be attending the next Upstart Enterprise Jobs Fair in Newcastle.
Upstart Enterprise provides access to good enterprise thinking and start-up programmes for all, regardless of background. Their Social Mission is to set up young people with the best entrepreneurial skills they can take forwards throughout their lives, and to increase the number of successful adult business start-ups from disadvantaged backgrounds.
The next Jobs Fair will be held at Newcastle City Learning Centre on Thursday 23rd September. You can come along between 10am and 2.30pm to have a chat with Charlotte and Kay, who'll be representing The Skill Mill. It's a great chance to find out about The Skill Mill and Urban Green's 4 week training programme.
European Structural and Investment Funds: The Skill Mill Limited is receiving up to £59,530.75 of funding from the England European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020. The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government and the Department for Work and Pensions (and in London the intermediate body Greater London Authority) are the Managing Authorities for European Reginal Development Fund and European Social Fund funding through the Growth Programme, funds established by the European Union to help local areas stimulate their economic development. By investing in projects the funds will help to support innovation, business, skills and employment to improve local growth and create jobs.
