At this years Knowledge Cities World Summit and Society for Open Innovation, Technology, Market and Complexity Conference hosted by the World Capital Institute, a paper presented by the founding Director of The Skill Mill has won a prestigious Outstanding Paper Award. Over 90 papers were presented from leading academics in the field of Knowledge Based Development and Social Innovation, so this was high recognition indeed.
The World Capital Institute is an independent International Think-Tank, established with the purpose of furthering the understanding and application of knowledge capital as the most powerful leverage for development, and has endorsed the work of The Skill Mill to reframe the approach to urban maintenance and bring significant social value and agrees that the principles are universal.
