August 2026 On-site experience, from fencing to cable detection The team completed three weeks of paid work for ESH. Tasks included putting up security and pedestrian fencing, covering mounds with roll-out netting, acting as banksman for vehicles, digging trial holes to locate cables, and removing a section of dry stone wall to make way for a pipe. Along the way, the team learnt about health and safety and how to set up a site.
