September 2026 Conservation Work at Greenwich Eco Park For the past month, the team has been working at Greenwich Eco Park (VTC) in south-east London on an ongoing project. The work includes eco-conservation, gardening, grounds maintenance, basic carpentry and general maintenance tasks. Some of these tasks, such as drilling, sawing, measuring, weeding and pruning, involved skills that were new to some members of the team, so they needed a tutorial and a bit of practice. The team also worked alongside volunteers from all walks of life and with a range of abilities. The social interaction was just as valuable as the work itself.
