Lonnie Robinson
Barking and Dagenham Supervisor
Born and raised in East London, Lonnie brings more than 20 years of experience in Youth Justice. His qualifications include a Foundation Degree in Youth Justice and a Professional Certificate in Effective Practice, among others.
Throughout his career, Lonnie has worked with young people across the full spectrum of youth justice services, including prevention programmes, out-of-court disposals, bail and remand, statutory court orders, custodial sentences, and licence supervision. His work has always focused on reducing reoffending and helping young people achieve positive outcomes through effective multi-agency collaboration and strong partnerships with external organisations, creating access to a wide range of opportunities and support.
As a seconded member of The Skill Mill team, Lonnie was immediately inspired by the organisation’s vision and impact. It did not take much convincing for him to join the team and become part of a journey dedicated to creating meaningful, lasting change in the lives of young people.
