David Lebourn

David grew up on the borders of Essex and East London, and brings over 33 years of remarkably varied experience to his role. His career has taken in everything from working with children in an amateur dramatics group - touring across the UK and as far afield as Australia - to a strong and specialised background in construction, with particular expertise in timber-framed buildings and groundworks. 

David also spent 15 years in the security sector, where he developed sharp interpersonal skills navigating anti-social and at times life-threatening situations. At the onset of the pandemic, he stepped up as PPE Officer for the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, demonstrating the calm and commitment he brings to everything he does. Since then, David has continued to broaden his expertise, gaining qualifications in Covid testing and containment, Safeguarding, and Mental Health and Wellbeing for both adults and children - areas in which he is actively continuing his professional development.
