#NoMoreKnives

February 27, 2019

Our young people have had the fantastic opportunity to meet Kayleigh Pepper from the Rich Foundation, and see the 27ft sculpture made of knives. The sculpture, 'Knife Angel', is made up with over 100,000 weapons collected in a knife amnesty. It is in the shape of an angel and engraved with messages from families of victims of knife crime.

Hull Live is working in partnership with Humberside Police and Kayleigh, whose brother Richard Pepper was stabbed to death outside his home in east Hull in June 2015, as part of our #NoMoreKnives campaign.

The campaign is aimed at educating young people on the dangers of knives and to find out why people are carrying them.
