Partnership Development Praised

A recent inspection report which has examined multiple aspects of Leeds Youth Justice System (YJS), has praised the partnership which the YJS has developed with The Skill Mill. The report states that a comprehensive range of high-quality services are in place, enabling personalised and responsive provision for all children and young people.

Workers across all roles were found to be highly effective in facilitating engagement and fostering positive relationships with young people. The young people which The Skill Mill work with are usually the most challenging and complex, and after completing their six-month work placements they were then able to gain work-based qualifications and secure employment.
