Out of the eleven young people who completed The Skill Mill programme since early 2018 at our Durham site, 82% are in employment, education or training.
Seven of these young people are now in employment. Employment is proven to reduce reoffending, and serves as a diversion from ongoing criminal behaviour. One young person is currently in training, and one is no longer unemployed.
This a great outcome, the young people should be really proud of themselves as we think they've done brilliantly. We look forward to providing you with more updates of how our young people are getting on!
